Senior Collection
The Pink Collection is a collection inspired by women's fashion in the 80's, especially by icons like Princess Diana and Madonna. This is a spring/summer 2024 collection using shades of pinks and oranges. I blended modern day styles like cropped, low rise and body-con to create a marketable collection.

Look one was inspired by Princess Diana's iconic and elegant blazer and skirt suits. This look is made with hot pink polyester poplin and dusty rose ostrich feathers.
For look two, I decided to incorporate 80's womens inspired trousers and a cropped turtleneck. The trousers were made with hot pink polyester poplin. The turtleneck top was draped and created with bright orange jersey knit and ostrich feathers.
For my last look, I used inspiration from Princess Diana's pink off the shoulder dress. I added ruffles for a true 80's effect and ostrich feathers. I created the ruffles with chiffon. The fabric used is white stretch twill that I hand dyed for the shade of light pink.

On March 31st, the AMDT program had their annual fashion show for senior apparel designers. I got to showcase my collection in front of instructors, peers and my family. This was one of my favorite moments in my college career.
